The first outing involved miles of over hill, over dale kind of stuff with plenty of rocks, thorns and muddy slopes. I would estimate five- seven miles of walking in mostly non stop rain. After two days of this I am pleased to share that the boots were comfortable and durable, especially for a feather light boot! No blisters, no leaks and little visible sign of wear. As a bonus, with the footbead liner removed, the moisture that did build up dried quickly during breaks.
The second outing involved multi miles of walking weeds, rushes, grass, and water for pheasants in southwestern MN. Temps were in the 20s and 30s with several inches on fresh snow. The boots remained flexible. I stayed warm, and dry with one ply 100% wool socks. I really enjoyed the light weight of the boots with all that walking. Still no visible signs of wear. Still no leaks!

Holeys keep rising above and beyond expectation
I received my bright pink rubbery ankle boots 2 months ago. Those pink boots have kept my feet dry, warm and very comfortable in all weathers ranging from heavy rain and slick mud, to freezing snow and icy sleet. Over 81 days, I have worn them on muddy building construction sites, on two 5-hour plane trips (Vancouver – Toronto), on five 2-hour back-woods hikes over moderate terrain in the snow and rain in B.C. and Ontario, and while shoveling snow, shlepping in the garden, and trekking in malls with my teenage daughters. To my surprise, these boots are made for walking – bouncy and comfortable. More surprising to me is their warmth in winter temperatures: I often have cold feet when outdoors and so-called winter boots don’t keep my feet warm. But the Holeys ankle boots (with two pairs of dry-fit sport socks) kept my feet warm even during those 2-hour treks in winter temperatures as low as -8°F (wind chill factor not included). I didn’t expect on top of the comfort that they have.
My 13 and 14-year old daughters and their friends have borrowed these boots – much to my shock because they generally wear fashionable (and expensive) leather boots. My 83-year old mother, who has a sensible fear of slipping and falling, has also worn these boots and reports that they gave her excellent traction on wet sidewalks. She appreciated their comfort too. Everyone who has worn the Coastals enthusiastically reports to me that they “love them” because the boots are easy to slip on and off in a hurry, completely rain-proof and always comfortable.

Most comfortable footwear I have bought in years!

there, yesterday I went to buy some dogfood at a Welkoop shop. As I had to pass
the shop to go to the cashier I suddenly saw a stand with Holeys. My feet ached
after having walked a great deal - shopping is sooooo tiring - and I decided to
buy a pair of red Holeys, red being my favourite color. I put them on in the
car and haven't taken them off apart for sleeping! I use the strap when I am
walking around and in house I put the strap forward and use them as slippers.
What a fantastic invention these clogs are! As a Dutch girl living in a
farmers-village I learned how to walk on wooden shoes, which we call clogs too.
But there is no comparison with Holey clogs - this is the most comfortable
footwear I have bought in years!

I wear my Holeys every single day!
I wanted to share with you that I have Planters Fasciatus and have tried Crocs and other foam shoes with no improvement. My friend bought me a pair of Holeys (Explorers) and I immediately noticed the difference. The doctor told me to keep off of my feet for 3 months but since wearing my Holeys, the difference has been “night and day”. I can walk barefoot around the house which I couldn’t do before… now I wear my Holeys every single day!

It’s good stuff
Read your testimonials and realized there were none like mine. I have severe back pain that cannot be operated on. I take spinal injections 3 times a year so that I can continue to work. I work in an office but am up and down and running all over on concrete floors. It’s been a few years since I could go to a flea market or to the mall. I just can’t walk it without it getting me down a week. One Saturday I was strolling in Huntsville AR and walked into a store that sells your shoes and noticed them.
Had been to a couple of other stores by then and my back was hurting. I took one of your shoes down and tried it on. I'll be honest, I’ve never liked the look of this type of shoe and said I’d never wear them. I’d tried others like them on and nothing had changed my mind. UNTIL I stood in one of yours. I remember actually sighing, right there in the store in front of everyone. The young woman who owns the store laughed at me. They felt so good. But I resisted about 4 more months. I went back to the store three times and tried them on again. They always felt wonderful but I just couldn’t make myself buy them. To make a long story short I finally bought a pair over a year ago and mostly haven’t taken them off. I went back and got two other colors. I decided one day I just needed to wear some real shoes and picked out my most comfortable leather pair and by the end of my work day my back was killing me and both legs were numb. So I’m back in the Holeys and don’t know when I’ll ever quit wearing them. Wish you made them in a little slip on heel so that I could wear them with dresses.
They haven’t taken away my back problems. I still have to have the injections three times a year and someday surgery, I hope, but they help me to get through my days with less pain. I love them and have even bought them charms! Just wanted you to know.
P.S. My co-worker got tired of listening to me going on and on about them and sent after a pair by me. She now feels exactly the same way about hers. It’s all that extra padding in the soles. It’s good stuff.

I have never found a more comfortable shoe
Hi, I have recently returned from a Cruise of the Mediterranean, plus I spent 2 days in Rome. I would like to let you know that I took 2 pairs of Holeys-Providers with me and walked all over and never had to change my shoes--which if I had taken runners etc. with me I would be changing all the time. I have never found a more comfortable shoe and wear them all the time. I would like to thank you very much. I wouldn't have been able to do half of what I did with another shoe.

By far my favorite shoes
At the beginning of June I bought some Holeys at MEC in Vancouver. I saw them in the paddling section and before I even tried them on I knew I had to have them. So I bought them. Anyway, I have been sporting your Holeys for a good seven months now. I have put them to the test. I pretty much wore them the whole summer and I've walked, hiked, ran, canoed, drove, waded, and slept in them. They are still looking and feeling like new. My Holeys are by far my favorite shoes and they are certainly my most comfortable shoes. Keep up the great work. Thank you.

What a marvelous invention!
My wife and I have six pairs of Holeys between us. We use them for everything (well, almost). I use my red ones as gardening shoes, and my black ones for household slippers. I use my yellow Holeys for walking in the water at the beach; they protect my feet from sharp objects on the ocean bottom, and if one falls off, it floats to the surface, and its bright yellow color makes it easily visible and retrievable. They're light, soft, comfortable, warm, breathable, durable, cute and fun. What a marvelous invention!

The only footwear I can use comfortably

I work on Granville Island and stand on a concrete floor for eight hours. Holeys make my shift so much easier. They feel so good to stand on.

The most comfortable shoe to wear while kayaking
I wear my Holeys everyday! They are awesome! They mould to your heel in the bottom of your kayak, and are by far the most comfortable shoe to wear while kayaking. I am heading up to Bella Bella for a few weeks and you can be sure that my Holeys will be coming with me.
